Thank you to Black Napkin Press for choosing me as the winner of the 2017 Chapbook Contest. Black Napkin facilitated fantastic work during its time, and unfortunately the press closed in 2018. I owe a multitude of thanks to Torrin Greathouse and Anthony Frame for collaborating to shift my manuscript over to the Glass Poetry Press Chapbook series with a plan to release Black, Matilda in 2019.
